The Trust Technique®

The Trust Technique® is a method of helping improve situations for both humans and the animals they care for. Some of the issues it can fully address and solve can include, but are not limited to:

When a human becomes more mindful with their animal, cycles of reaction are broken. Unwanted behaviours and difficult situations can be dramatically influenced for better. An animal and their human will respond immediately when mindfulness is introduced. A deeper connection is created when we recognise that thoughts create feelings, and feelings, behaviours. Understanding behaviours in this context can be pivotal in helping and supporting an animal to trust, build confidence and cooperate, changing difficult situations, often remarkably quickly.

During a consultation, online or in-person, you will learn how to connect and re-interpret your animal’s behaviour. We will work together to create any changes needed in a structured way, to support you and your animal. With planning, I can provide in-person support as I am in-country in the Netherlands (Groningen), the UK (Scottish Borders, Aberdeenshire), Benelux and North Germany at certain times of the year. Travel to support you and your animals is possible, where appropriate.
